"Six of us on Saturday, including Doug from Hershey. Great day, nice runs on blues and 'black and blue' a few times. Thanks everyone for winching and strapping me out of trouble 4 times. Thats what I get for running 29" swampers with a 2" spacer lift. I appreciate all of the advice, Greg-I will work on my 'spotting skills' for next time. Rock On, Shawn" -

"We were somewhat short on trail experience for this run. Saturday was nicely covered, with Doug doing an excellent job calling out the rough spots, and having impeccable knowledge of the park. We did have some excitement, much at lake Christi where I tried my jeep out as a submersible... Fortunately for me the periscope (snorkel), and door seals kept the fishies out of my engine and interior, but it was a bit sketchy for a few moments. After that Sean and Nate both high centered on some hill climbs, but Nick, Doug, and I all made it up the muddy exit that I have never been able to do in any rig. This was also a shakedown run for several of the jeeps - Saturday I had the Blue Rubi running 37's with high clearance fenders, and 5" lift. It performed fantastically(no rubs) - Sunday saw Russ Winn with his newly built 5.5" RockKrawler kit and 35's on the blacks. I hear he buggered a control arm mount, but nothing unrecoverable. A great weekend, and a fantastic group. " -

"I learned more in one day than I have with anything else. It was a great time." -
Nate
"It was a great time. The group was Greg, Nick, Doug, Shaun, and myself. Plenty of mud could have nad some more. There was very little carnage which is always good. And as all good trips go everyone drove home."

"3 Rigs showed up for Sunday's ride...... a great day of wheeling in the rain AGAIN!!!! ha ha. Carl, Nick, and myself showed up....Greg was there for a little while to get us off....thanks for the support. We had a little carnage on one of the black trails, I smashed a rear control arm bracket...but after a little field fix, it was bent back into place and off we went....also sounding like Nick was loosing a U-joint at days end.....but all in all, it was a fun day....looking forward to next month. Thanks Nick again for everything Pal."
